I am quite happy with the Ex-Barcelona player we already have thanks.

As am I. But if you had the chance to pick between Guadiola or Hughes who would it be? Mine would be Guadiola. Ok he doesn't have prem experience but he's won big trophies and can no doubt handle bid players. He fined Messi for turning up to training 5 mins late, so he's also not scarred to upset the big boys.

Sorry but not a proven good manager yet, I could win stuff in charge of Barca. Wait until he goes to a very average team with no money like Real Zaragoza and wins the CL, then i'll think he's good.
BTW all Hiddink fans, what did he do @ Real Betis (apart from get sacked), never done anything with an average club.

Isn't the idea to eventually have the most talented squad in the world and find someone capable of managing them to success.

Can't believe the cv's of Hiddink or Guardiola are being questioned, they both piss all over our incumbent.

Guariola managed Baca "B" then Barca... a team that can practically manage itself. One season with Barca doesn't "piss all over our incumbent" ffs.

League winner, champions league winner, cup winner.

Already a mile ahead, after one season IMO.

It doesn't mean he would be a success with us, but let's not talk down some tremendous achievements.

Haha, you're honestly comparing the Barca job to ours at the moment? If he'd done it with a number of clubs in a number of countries perhaps we'd have a reputation a la Hiddink/Mourinho.

As it is, he's done fuck all, Barca were and still are one of if not the best club team in the world. The team practially picks itself. He's not had to show half the qualities needed to succeed with us.

Done fuck all, ha ha.

If you said that Guardiola has achieved great things, but you still think that we should keep Hughes I'd be inclined to give you some credit.

But if you think managing a football team (no matter how talented) to a treble is fuck all then I'm afraid I can't take your opinion seriously.

This isn't a 'Hughes or Guardiola' debate. So you're first part is completely irrelevent.

You said you couldn't believe Pep's CV was being questioned. He's had one season, one season at club isn't a CV.

He has a great acheivement at his sole season Barca, but like i said, and you failed to answer; are you really comparing the skills needed to manage Barca to the skills needed to manage us? Winning a treble with Barca is "fuck all" when analysing what we as Manchester City need from a long term manager.

Just be honest, you either don't know what you're talking about, or you really, really dislike Hughes and its clouding your judgement.

You think Guardiola has achieved fuck all. If you were genuinely interested in discussing his achievements (you are clearly not) and that is your genuine opinion then we are just going to have to agree to disagree.

And before you try and turn this into a "you just hate Hughes sobfest" you will note that I have suggested on several occasions that he should be given more time, have as recently as last week said that I wouldn't sack him for Hiddink, and have not suggested that we sack him for Guardiola.

But the statements were made that we shouldn't be considering Guardiola because he has achieved "fuck all", it is only right that it is pointed out that he has achieved a hell of a lot more than our manager.

And if you think that a manager of a treble winning side doesn't need the skills that would take us forward as a club then I'd suggest that I couldn't disagree with you more.
