More worrying is a mentality problem which we have in 2 legged games against decent teams and this is where the champions league has failed since hes came in. The team fall apart when conceding a goal or just aren't consistent enough throughout 90 minutes.

At our best no doubt the potential is there to win the CL but if we keep on having these bad patches which we have shown no signs of improving then its going to keep causing issues.

I think recently, and particularly in the CL, VAR has had a more adverse impact to progress than what you believe Pep has

Yep the dipper games where he changed it and it backfired, the spurs game going defensive and it back firing,,he can't really expect players to play one way in the prem then go more defensive for the cl knockouts

You wouldn't be talking about Spurs now if Sergio had scored that penalty. Sometimes the losses are on the players, not on the manager.

He sets them up,you can't bank on getting a pen or it being scored so that isn't part of the game plan

Whether the setup was good depends on the outcome. Had we scored from the pen and taken home a win or a draw, we'd be in the semis or the final.

I wasn't happy with the starting XI at Spurs but we were after a quadruple at the time and I could understand Pep's reasoning.

Well thats the thing in a nutshell isn’t it he was trying to keep 4 balls in the air, if that one hadn’t dropped maybe we wouldn’t have won those 14 games and we’d have dropped the league ball. Easy to pick odd mistakes we aren’t the ones managing a squad over 4 competitions and seeing the whole picture. We won 3 that’ll do me, no body else has ever done what we did, some are never satisfied.

It's not about being satisfied, that goes without saying

I have a saying,a healthy mind questions everything,my mind isn't that healthy anymore and i can obsess over details to the enth degree but in general it's good to question things,it's also how you learn

Of course, and we all question want went wrong after a defeat if this if that. I have no problem with questioning or discussing Pep’s decisions in hindsight. My big problem with some of the complaints are thinking they know better before the games or thinking he’ made decisions that didn’t work on purpose.
He goes into every game with a plan meticulously, obsessively worked out sees stuff before a game no other manager sees. Nearly all of the times it works , it’s why he wins so much. Sometimes it doesn't we have to accept that you can’t have the mad genius without the mistakes he is what he is. Sometimes he can be a bit weird most of the cleverest people are.
