Why did we have an excellent defensive record last season and an outstanding one in the 2nd half of the season if what you say were true? Do you realise we did much better than Liverpool in the 2nd half of last season and the best in Europe? You can't play a normal possession game with 10 men away from home against a team challenging for top 4. Liverpool couldn't keep the ball against Brighton at home and they were playing with a man less for just 15 minutes.

Wolves beat us several months ago by counter attacking us at the Etihad. Why try play a possession based game and allow them to use their best attacking weapon against a 10 men team? Why give Traore more space to exploit?

The plan was working fine before Mendy's brainfart.

Bayern still lost that game in 2014. Had we played our game and lost the game through goals from counters, then the moaners would say Pep is foolish to play possession based game with 10 men away from home. Moaners are going moan anyway. They always know better than the manager and the players.

Bravo doesn't give confidence to the team in the same way Ederson does with his excellent distribution and coolness under pressure. When it was passed to Bravo it seemed he passed to Wolves most of the time.
