He's become extremely dull and predictable. Says the same thing in every press conference and every interview.

I miss unpredictable Pep.

We all know he’s right when compared against the top elite European sides, but I’m getting tired of him constantly putting us down. It’s almost as if it’s a get out clause for him if he doesn’t win the Champions League.

We all know he’s right when compared against the top elite European sides, but I’m getting tired of him constantly putting us down. It’s almost as if it’s a get out clause for him if he doesn’t win the Champions League.

If it is a case of him giving out premade excuse then not a single person paying attention falls for it.

I doubt it's that but I honestly don't get why he says it every time because it's of absolutely no benefit to us.

Hardly surprise he constantly puts us down. He is only here cos of Txiki. He is lover of the cartel clubs, this is no secret

Pep himself said in July 2016 that he is only here because of Txiki. He has himself admitted it.
“II have known Txiki and Ferran for a long time," he said. "I played with Txiki and Ferran was on the board during my first period at Barcelona.

"The challenge is to play as well as possible. Titles and success will be a consequence of the way we are going to play. I want to convince these guys to play as well as possible and to have Manchester City fans and fans across the world be proud of the way we play.

“I don’t want to have any preconceptions of how it is going to be. I want to learn as much as possible. I have an idea how we are going to play but I learned in Germany at Bayern Munich. I arrived there with an idea and learned how to change.”
Guardiola has enjoyed huge success during his seven seasons as a manager – winning 21 major trophies during spells with Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Given his record, the Catalan could be forgiven for displaying complacency but he says he's fully aware of the task he faces.

“[Other managers] have told me how hard the Premier League is, how tough it is,” he said. “People say that Pep is not going to adapt in that way so that is why I’m here, to try to do it.

"Some people are confident that it will go well and some say that the way I play will not be possible in the Premier League.

“I said to myself 'why not? Why not travel there and try it.' It’s a big challenge.

“When you see the statistics from the last few years in the Premier League every team can beat every team and every team can lose to every other.

“It’s difficult to find one team that gets five or six victories in a row. Last year Leicester winning the Premier League was an amazing surprise for everyone.

“That is amazing. What I have to do to control that I don’t know because I’ve never been here or experienced here before. That’s why I’m here.”

This is also from July 2016. I don't think Txiki was the ONLY reason.
