I love the fact that Pep speaks for us-he wears his heart on his sleeve. His comments about the game being bent is because we know it is-they want the competition to continue; its all about money. Go back to our UEFA 'ban' and it coincided with the rags getting the most ridiculous decisions going their way and the huge number of pens-a clear push to get them back on the gravy train.

Football is struggling through the pandemic-its even more imperative that authorities do their best to use their influence to push the history clubs, to sell subscriptions to keep the competition. On top of that you have commentators gaslighting us in what is becoming increasingly clear stinks of a cover up. Hinchcliffe fuck off.

That Pep also went back to the spurs champs lg game means he knows this is likely to rear its head again at some point-and 'in the 38 games we can overcome this'. He knows.

So yes Pep was frustrated at how poor we were for long periods but mainly because we can't afford to add the mistakes to the blatant corruption. I fucking love him.

its corruption. Why? Money. Pep knows it, check the post match press conference around the 3:00 min mark it begins. The refs try to make the title race closer as it’s more interesting. More viewers watch and more money is made.

it’s also why Pep says whatever we as a club achieved, we did it ourselves i.e with no help from the referees.

Pep also mentions that we went out to Spurs in the CL due to Llorente handball goal which is the first time he mentioned it I believe.

There is corruption but it’s not as clear as you would imagine. The refs influence the game in certain actions. Last night, soft penalty for Soton given, clear penalty for Foden not given. In other games, Salah dives and gets a penalty. Other examples are giving 6 minutes of extra time when it should be really 3 minutes giving the “helped” team an extra push or maybe giving a free kick in a dangerous area for a foul that is never a foul after the player falls over. It’s little things like this.

Holy shit!

‘Jon cannot see it but if VAR cannot see it it’s because you want a more competitive Premier League’

Fucking love this man!

Also said at the start;

‘I hope one day they can explain it’

I don’t even think ‘they’ means pigmol, I think he means ‘they’ as in some actual external authority who can investigate.

Spot on Easy.

Liverpool and United in particular get a leg up in tight games with soft penalties and free kicks in dangerous area’s (which don’t get reviewed). This is the way referees influence games.

Conversely we all saw how the referee influenced the game when the game was tight last night. Look next time for our soft penalty. I guarantee it will come in a fixture like Fulham if we are already 2 or 3 in front. It’s then portrayed as these things evening themselves out.

At worst I believe the game is bent and officials receive cash. At best PGMOL brainwash their elite referees into believing that they are protecting their brand and jobs by ensuring the clubs with global trolls progress further in competitions.

Gabby really. Not sure about that.
Absolutely, IMO, but more so the other three. There was too much space between players last night so we didn't win the ball back as quickly and we were constantly having to play more incisive passes. The movement and pressing of Gabby from the front, allied to the interceptions and ball control of Rodri and the composure of Stones and his ability to bring it into midfield.

The boss has every right to be pissed off. The rotation is not working recently as a few players are not performing to the levels required. No injuries is actually problematic. He has an impossible job at the moment re squad rotation. The changes to give players mins is badly effecting our Rhythm on the pitch. I expect a few big names to leave this summer.

The level of cheating/incompetence is shocking. We are constantly on the end of bad decisions and it can impact anyones mental Health. Pep has called it out now and I hope the club follow it up. We are not accepted and they will do anything in their power to stop us. How or when it will change is anyone’s guess.

Liverpool's sudden implosion is playing on Pep's mind.

Yes they had bad injuries, but what happened to them was unexpected, at least for 99 % of pundits and fans, probably even for the best managers. Even though we don't have injuries currently, the possibility for an implosion is a concern for Pep, consciously or not. Add to that our first 10 minutes which were probably us at our worst all season, for we struggled to build a single attack and S'ton had 69 % possession, which reinforced Pep's concern. In that context, the non-penalty decision was quite irritating.

Truth is that uncertainty in football is part of what makes it such a great game, but also what can turn dreams into nightmares. The probability for an implosion is minimal, but Pep's fear is understandable.

I'd love to know what he did wrong tonight, I thought he was our 4th best player after Foden and Mahrez and Ederson (who made a few good saves).
His legs had gone so much, he won the ball back 25 yards out from the opposition's goal high pressing with an interception that led to a goal.

'Legs have gone'

okay.
