I have a feeling sterling is involved somewhere in all of thst interview.
Hes probably kicked off royal for pep having the audacity to bench him
That doesn't fit the comments about players who want to play for the club. It would explain why Pep looked cross BEFORE the game though.

A culmination of VAR and sloppy passages of play . I think he will be laying down the law over the next few days in private , a rerun of the all or nothing training episode when tiredness wasn’t an option and the odd expletive.

He said the players that helped him throughout the season will play (I think).
Sounds to me that he is talking about either the ones that didn't play much or the ones that whined about not playing much. We will see who when he stops rotating as much.

I thought it was may be a warning to KDB at first, as he is currently negotiating a contract and hasn't played that much due to injury. Doesn't make much sense though as he has pretty much always picked him even when not in the best form.

Not sure who else may possibly be stalling on a new contract, or perhaps wants out. I could see Torres and Mendy not being happy with their game time. Possibly Laporte and/or Aguero.

As you say, we will soon see.

I think the fact that he never normally mentions decisions/VAR/refs, and suddenly has, speaks volumes as to what is irking him.

I also dont think he liked how it seemed to effect the play too.

Laporte is being dragged out of position constantly.

He keeps going into areas he doesn't need to be.

Probably says much that we look so much better when Dias shifts across and Stones starts.

I was of the opinion before his bad injury that Laporte doesn't read the game very well and is far too reactive to be a 'top' defender. His injury was largely self-inflicted, due to him trying to tackle with the wrong foot. Anyone who has played the game would have seen that - It wasn't the first time and it wasn't the last... He's all over the shop.

Dias and Stones (and in my opinion, Nathan Ake) read danger better and are more proactive (and therefore more reliable) defenders than Laporte.

It must be frustrating for any coach to see multi-million pound players making basic errors. He's not 'Mangala level' of bad, but Laporte is almost certainly at number four in our list of central defenders, and I can't see him being at City next season.

Lol, Ake isn’t fit to carry Laporte’s boots. Very much a squad utility player

Can’t agree with that, 3rd on current form

I would take that further, I would love City to win the Champions league this year and just walk by those UEFA twats with their trophy and go to the fans then walk down the tunnel.
I would collect the cup , place it in the middle of the pitch and walk off.
