Think that’s a bit unfair tbh. He’s apparently one of the most down to earth players in the squad. Seems a bit out of character for him. Maybe he’s just frustrated at his own recent form and wants the chance to rectify it.

Yeah, it's possible he caught Pep in the wrong mood too. Things like this happen.

Apparently he was aggrieved at not starting against Southampton, and felt he was being treated differently from certain other out of form players who kept their place. Received an absolute bollocking from Pep I believe.

Other than Sterling, have we really had that many regulars out of form? KDB been injured, and Mahrez possibly but recently has been superb. Only Sterling who has been off form for quite a while now

Given how much he has played, and at times when he's been off form but Pep stuck with him, complaining about being left out now is probably the reason Pep is so pissed. He's shown plenty of faith in Raz so won't be appreciating that attitude one bit.

It does seem strange that Aguero gets his mates to very publically and very obviously moan on his behalf about playing time, and is rewarded with a start, but Sterling is dropped completely for doing the same thing in private?
