I'm in the "no smoke without fire, but who knows how big the fire was?" camp.
And I see it as good stuff. Neither KDB or Sterling nor Aguero are essential to the team. Nor Foden, for that matter. This is part of the first two - our biggest achievers in recent years - realising that was then, this is now. KDB is a bit of a kid sometimes. Raheem a bit of a 'special' case. I'd be ok to sell either to Real or Bayern, in return for that Uruguayan, or Goretza, or to get a Haaland or Mbappe, because we could replace them with any number of other super talented players who would shine very brightly into our attacking line up.
I'd rather we didn't however, because they have every quality needed, and the opportunity to outdo what they've already achieved with us, and become part of something bigger than them.
