Pep Guardiola - 2020/21 Performances

Disagree completely. The players produced exactly the performance I thought they would when I saw the team sheet. We’ve seen him rest too many key personnel before (Cheltenham in the cup being a good example). Taking out your 4 most creative players, which quartet also included our 3 best dribblers and 2 best crossers, was only ever going to result in the kind of toothless complacency we saw today, because, erm, it always does

We are 14 points ahead though, we only need 11 to win the league and that’s if United win all their games which they won’t.

Id rather save our creative players for the bigger games coming up. The Champions League QF, the FA Cup Semi Final and the League Cup final.

Talking about creative players as well, we had 27 chances to score and scored once, how many more chances do we need?

People need to look at they bigger picture here.

Rags win their games in hand and it’s an 8 point lead with 6 games left, an advantage that’s twice been overturned in the last 9 years.

27 chances to score is an utterly misleading stat, given that it included the usual glut of pointlessly optimistic 25 yard wafters from Sterling and a similar amount of long range scuffs from Jesus into a forest of legs. We were never going to win with those two up top without Kev, Foden, Mahrez or Gunders to load the bullets for them and play them in.

Hahaha. Ok.

Ok, let’s dumb it down for you then.

- No composure in quick fire succession from Torres and Jesus that were both blocked in the first half.
- The sterling chance in the first half that he dragged wide.
- The Bernardo chance in the second half that went wide.
- Zinchenko strike in the second half.
- Torres goal in the second half.

Five good chances created. Only one scored.

How many more chances do you want to create before we overplay the main inform creative players in KDB, Foden and Mahrez? Do you want them to be knackered mentally and physically for the second leg in the CL, the semi final against Chelsea and the league cup final against Spurs? When we are 14 points ahead in the league.

Bernardo, Sterling, Torres, Jesus all started. A combined goals of 22 and combined assists of 15 in the premier league. Are you saying they aren’t capable of beating a Leeds side at home and then a Leeds side down to ten men at home before half time?

“Hahaha ok”

So you want us to beat Leeds at all costs even though we have a 14 point lead and we have three one off must win coming up?

Read the stats how you wish, we had chances to win the game today from an attacking quartet that cost over £150m.

I’m just a fan on the internet, read bielsas quotes if you want someone more knowledgable.
