Agreed with luck part. There was no way we were winning this title with no striker and poor finishing. We punched above our weight and pulled through PL, next sesosn without striker we are going nowhereThere'll be plenty ballyhoo about the lack of a defensive midfielder, but a greater problem looms. We simply struck it lucky this season with no crowds and football played at a snail's pace, something that helped us strangle teams. Since crowds came back and the intensity increased, however, the massed midfield has looked obsolete already, and we simply don't have the legs in midfield to counter teams such as Chelsea. Back to the drawing board.
overthinking idiot
Yes. Pep did almost everything well. No question that.Unfortunately, this thread is peppered with non-City fans. For those who support the club, it is gutting, but Pep has delivered a league and a cup, this season. Tonight, a team played to stop us from playing and they did it exceptionally well. For all those criticising the decision to change one player, for that's what it was, neither Bernardo, KDB, Foden or Gundogan could be said to have great games. It was more of a team that played a simpler tactical game taking the glory. We will come again.
He changed one player. Personally, I do not think that change made any difference at all but we will never really know.Yes. Pep did almost everything well. No question that.
the problem is he did the overthinking again and produced the bad performance from whole team.
