Been an incredible season winning the Premier League and Carabao Cup but baldy really fucked up tonight. Still been a great season but this one will leave a bad taste for a long long time.

So poor from him tonight as a neutral. Sterling should never have started. Why change a winning formula?

Thought he'd learned his lesson by not tinkering this season in CL, then he does it tonight in the biggest game.

A few poor performances all round for you but Pep has to take the blame for that one.
When a manager has been outplayed 3 times in a row by Tuchel he has to take the responsability. They are good? Yes. But not an "out of this world" team. And giving them the midfield was not wise

There'll be plenty ballyhoo about the lack of a defensive midfielder, but a greater problem looms. We simply struck it lucky this season with no crowds and football played at a snail's pace, something that helped us strangle teams. Since crowds came back and the intensity increased, however, the massed midfield has looked obsolete already, and we simply don't have the legs in midfield to counter teams such as Chelsea. Back to the drawing board.

I think Pep is a teriffic manager. I think he has climbed heights many managers can only dream of and only few have but Pep's biggest enemy is Pep. I don't ever see City winning the Champions League under Pep. Unfortunately that is the next step the club need to take to truely become elite. That is what the Shiek's ultimate ambition always was, to make City a European powerhouse. Pep has given everything to City and we have enjoyed some truely stupendious football but a style can stay after a manager, a philosophy can stay after a manager but a different manager with a fresh look at football and the ability to learn from mistakes and not be stubborn to self destruction can lead that team. We have lost Silva, Kompany and now Aguero. We have survived after the prior two, maybe the same can be applied to the manager. Pep has his lovers and his hater but we can all agree that tonight was the repetition of a pattern that has plagued his time at City. Before I ultimately make my mind up I need to hear his reasons for tonight. I feel many blues will be the same.

Again and again.
Playing whole season either with Rodri or with Ferna.
CL final and he plays Gundo on that position.

Shame on you Pep. You didn’t took this seriously. Just did the experiment.

He just can't help himself, can he? Gutted for you lads. Seeing the Chavs winning it for the second time is absolutely puke inducing. There's always next year...

Unfortunately, this thread is peppered with non-City fans. For those who support the club, it is gutting, but Pep has delivered a league and a cup, this season. Tonight, a team played to stop us from playing and they did it exceptionally well. For all those criticising the decision to change one player, for that's what it was, neither Bernardo, KDB, Foden or Gundogan could be said to have great games. It was more of a team that played a simpler tactical game taking the glory. We will come again.

This is true.

He’s won us more than lost so just go with it blues. He got it wrong tonight but we would not swap him.

The team will be hurting like us blues

we go again
