If you think my original one word comment requires further clarification, it only strengthens it.Can insult me but cannot tell me why? Ok.

We won the league because of the strength of the collective, every one of them. Did Pep tell you he was "dumped" and what he "has finally seen", I think he sees what you cannot.
Sterling it appears was played for his strengths and was given game time in the past few matches in hope of restoring him to his best form, sadly it didn't work.
"Rodri being part of a title winning team means fuck all on his individual abilities or contribution otherwise Darren Fletcher is one of the greatest midfielders in Premier League history." What a ridiculous comment from someone who follows a team sport. A PL winning team is a collection of individual players/staff whose combined and individual varieties of skills and strengths are better than any other team, over a season. I doubt Rodri will be sulking too much, that he's not considered a great player, as he polishes his medals knowing he will go down in the club's history as part of a great team. Likewise in years to come Fletcher's name will be in the Reds' history books as a member of what they remember as a great team, no one will care what our opinions of either are.

Your statement that he played the majority of the season but not the home semi-final leg and the final is factually correct, the rest is your opinion, to which you are entitled. I am also entitled to an opinion and that is that speculating on what other players might have done to win us the title, is entirely irrelevant to a Pep thread, your opinion dressed up as factual statements. Whether Rodri or any of our PL winning team are "special" individual players will be best judged when their careers come to an end. You are not sure what my point is, suddenly I'm not surprised.First off he played the majority of the season and then was unused in a semi final and final of the champions league, he was dumped. Pep hasn’t told me no, but considering he too played in the same position and then did not use him in the biggest games of the seasons suggest to me he has lost faith.
Secondly how can it be a ridiculous comment to mention someone’s individual abilities despite his success as a team player? You replace Rodri with Fernandinho or Gundogan this season and it’s the same outcome, title winners. You replace him with Kalvin Phillips and it’s the same outcome. Fabinho same outcome. Kante same outcome. Ndidi same outcome. Hojbjerg same outcome.
Rodri is not a special player. Any DM could have done the same job he did, recycle the ball against a team that has 11 behind the ball.
Finally not sure what your point is about Rodri not sulking about not being a great player and not caring about our opinions.
Rodri has been integral to the success of the team this season. Anyone who can’t see that is deluded. If you want to detail key mistakes made by players this season, he won’t be in the Top 5...by a wide margin.Whatever makes you happy pal. I come on this forum to discuss opinions on football. You wouldn’t randomly shout that out in the pub would you but whatever floats your boat on here and makes you happy like I said.

And understanding football floats my boat.
You clearly have a deluded sense of self. I’m out. Good luck to you, you’re going to need it!So Pep is deluded then? As surely someone who has been integral to the success of the team this season wouldn’t then not play in the two biggest games of the season and the biggest game in this clubs history?
Ruben Dias has been integral to the success this season. So has KDB, so has Foden, so has Gundogan, so has Walker, so has Ederson.
All played in the biggest games this season.
Rodri who is supposedly as integral, nowhere to be seen in the two biggest.
So integral.
Happy to at least be in the same association as someone like Pep Guardiola though, the deluded blues.

That's with a capital D. Just finished a "sensible" one sided "discussion" on the Zinchenko thread with "average Joe", but Joe was out, probably posting to himself. You clearly have a deluded sense of self. I’m out. Good luck to you, you’re going to need it!
