Sterling started the Olympiacos game and was very wasteful. Mahrez got a chance in Burnley game. I am sure sterling will get a chance in porto or Fulham game. Or maybe mahrez gets a start against porto to prove it was'nt a one time fluke.

I don't disagree that Sterling has been poor recently, Mahrez didn't just get a chance though as hes been in the starting 11 for weeks which is frustrating, unless this was some 6d chess that Pep was playing to play Mahrez into form. Mahrez as you say has a good chance to have another strong game this week and he really should put on a performance against Fulham.

He’s right. We had results like this weekend’s a few times last season where the mood afterwards was “City have turned a corner”. Burnley away being a good example. But we never did turn a corner and find a level of consistency. The way the league has turned out so far, putting a run of 7 wins together would put you clear at the top no doubt.

If Mahrez perfofms as well vs proper teams as he has recently then Pep has shown us, again, how good he is, as many of us would have binned him.
