No subs is frustrating but that's just Pep. Not exactly like there were loads of goals on the bench either.

It's all a moot point if just one of the half dozen sitters were finished.

Not much point dropping when you’ve got about 5 there already and it’s that crowded. Somebody has to be in the box even if that someone is about 5 foot 8. He’s beyond wasted up there.

Truth is that we still miss Rodri-Bernardo-Gundo midfield, that's the best one Pep can choose..

But with that midfield you have to bench Mahrez or Foden or Grealish or KDB and all of them are undroppable..

Maybe it's logical to bench Grealish and return last year's line-up with Foden-KDB-Mahrez as the attackers and Bernardo-Gundo-Rodri midfield, but Jack is too good to be dropped and today he showed it..

It's meant to help create space for the wide men. Allow them to come inside and give the fullbacks space outwide. Works for the dippers.
