Fair play for keeping the players grounded and calm in the face of the extremist of provocation,and even more so for not being drawn into a war of words post match.

As for the football.....getting through to another Semi is amazing but i thought he got our team wrong and i thought he could have used his subs far better.
He should have took Phil off early doors as he was completely ineffective and shook up while understandably reluctant to put himself about after the assault.
Bringing Sterling on also did nothing to help retain the ball or defend from the front.We are crying out for a centre forward that can do such,and its poor planning from all concerned that we have allowed that situation to occur.

With the after effects of this game and the upcoming fixtures,this period is undoubtedly going to be amongst his toughest periods to navigate,Already a legend,but coming away with a trophy,or three,this season will be incredible under the circumstances.
 
Two of the best players in the team were completely nullified by his selections. Bernardo lw and foden false 9. This after foden ripped them a new hole in 20 mins at right wing a week ago. How is that a good idea? Made up for it with the ake and fern subs.

To be honest, who else was he meant to pick?

Walker injured and Dias just coming back from an injury.
Laporte and Rodri have played virtually every minute this season.
De Bruyne not fully fit.

The only mistake was playing a keeper who can't play out from the back against a pressing team but it's always been our policy to play the second keeper in the cups and no one complained about that when we won four league cups in a row.
