Rumour I heard is that there are a number of unhappy players in the camp at present ….
The performance level is more down to some not allegedly wanting to give ‘their all’ for Pep any more.
Not quite at the Mancini situation prior to cup final…. But not far off
And if that is true I say the same as I said when different players knifed Mancini. Sell any player who has downed tools. Any player, whomsoever he or they is or are.

This club could easily have taken a major fall when we sided with the players of that time over Mancini. It is only down to Manuel’s genius that we did not.

I don’t care who they are, if they have turned on the manager, they have to go. Immediately.
The best manager in the history of the game, Ferguson (I don’t care who he managed, he was and remains the greatest manager ever) fucked players off left and right the moment they challenged him (until age caught up with him and he bowed to Rooney and look what happened shortly after that. He retired and the club hasn’t yet recovered)

That is quite an accusation......and,given some of the performances,a very easy assumption to jump to.

Do you have a dressing room insider? If not, where did you hear this 'rumour'?

Insanity from those players if so. After everything Pep's achieved, how can they assume they know better?

I don't have a problem with players questioning or disagreeing with the manager. I think it's a healthy dressing room where that stuff can be said out loud and talked through.

But, the manager having made his decisions, the players need to put aside their qualms and do their best to deliver his plans.

Form and fitness ebb and flow, but commitment and effort shouldn't. Any player pissing about not giving his all needs a stern talking-to and, if there's no improvement, he can go in the summer.

All over the world there'll be players lining up to work with Pep. It's a question of, if it comes to it, does he have the fire in his belly for a rebuild? I hope so, but even if he doesn't - we should weed out the snakes in preparation for his successor. If they'll do it now, they'll do it again.

Yep, IF there are players who have downed tools then each of them needs to be booted out of the club asap, dont care who they are.
Thats a big if though

It not an accusation - I said a rumour….

Regarding source - via a professional in the game.

Obviously as City supporter I don’t wish this to be anything other than an unfounded rumour with no substance. And you are correct in that it is an easy assumption to jump to based certain individual and team performances.

So for all our sakes let’s hope it’s idle gossip

I don’t like Peps body language, this might be a season too far for him, hes Coming over as if he’s reading headlines and fans views. He came out with not interested in Carabou cup and league last night, his digs at his formations and team selection. I do wonder if the Haaland deal i something he really wanted, I’ve said before he’s never really had this sort of player before and maybe it’s fucking with his head how to put him in. Alvarez seems more the model of his player but Haaland is undroppable because of the hype. I honestly think if we win the CL this year he walks citing burnout.
Agree with you about the body language. He certainly doesn't look happy at the moment whether that is performances or something else who knows but it is not the same Pep.

That's disappointing and worrying if true. Did the rumour reveal why that situation has arisen?

If I had to guess it would be they are sick of being shackled and forced backwards, and also sick of playing out of position
I also think i5 could be fatigue mentally, the players maybe think it needs to change, the way we play must-be mentally draining, constantly afraid to lose possession, Grealish is a completely different player to what we bought and not in a good way. We have some of the best technical footballers in the world but if you aren’t let of the leash you look shit and it must get to you.
