There's no doubt some key players think Pep's newer tactics are shit. I think I know why they may think that. Because they are!big trouble in the dressing room imo, either with personal issues or Pep insisting on tactical changes which the players dont believe in or both.
the issues we had like certain key players kept on bench after WC, than body language issues at training, than Cancelo's urgent transfer out of the blue, then he keeps trying to prove a point with Rico Lewis, maybe to Txiki about squad strength, also a message about completely not using Phillips and Gomez two of his summer transfers.
we brought in Gomez as we missed out on Cucurella and (was arrogant enough to tell Zinchenko he is gonna have even less game time due to cucurella ) & to offset pressure on Cancelo who was our main LB last season.
Zinchenko gone, Cancelo gone, Cucurella never arrived and Gomez hardly gets a chance to look in. he may well be not good enough or not up to speed. by the look of it not even for a limited rotational role.
dont get me started on Phillips.
I bet if Rodri would get a 2 months injury Phillips would still be sitting on the bench most of that 2 months.
Blah, blah, blah, blah...keep fiddling while Rome burns...4 titles in 5 seasons. Still 2nd and still favourites with the bookies to win it. Still in the FA cup with a favourable draw and still in the Chumps league after topping our group. Plus we're top scorers in the division and have the highest individual scorer. Self entitles spoilt brats on here
So Pep's had to create miracles to win with this squad? Seriously? That's a load of nonsense. LMFAOThe only concern I have is that we are incapable of passing the ball into Haaland. We have good players and a world class manager. The season is done imo. We will hang on for a while but that zip/drive is not on show this season. When Kev was passing the ball to Haaland it all seemed so easy. Now Kev is off form and the rest are pants. On the face of it poor recruitment for what ever reason is a major factor. Last season our squad was not good enough and we just about got the job done. This season the old reliable players like Kev have gone messing. Only 1 player has stepped up with goals and that is Haaland.
Solution: buy better players and stop worrying about the letter writing cunts. Hard balancing act. One we must put right in the summer.
Pep can only do so much. He cant create with the wrong tools. Clear out needed. Far too many passengers not weighing in with goals or assists. The club needs to give him better players and not have him creating miracles each season.
Oh, stop buying English players. Productivity and quality has fallen as a result of our recruitment. We have dropped the ball big time in this regard. Can’t creative with out a bit of magic. Foden was our only hope and he is having a funny season.

We won’t get better than Pep.
We’ve been poor this season no doubt, but back him in the transfer window, get some bloody width, pace and fullbacks, offload those who don’t want to be here (Cancelo/Bernardo) and see how we get on next season.
If he gets the players in he wants, has a balanced squad and can’t get them singing to his tune next season like he has done previously, then I would start to question if the end is nigh.
But one bad season with our worst squad since season 1, after all the incredible ones and people think it’s time up? Not for me.
Here we go cracking up again.calm down people we win more than we lose these days like CTID
