Sometimes I think he has his own projects.
Lewis.
Grealish - proving everyone wrong or something. Telling the player is doing good as he doesn’t lose the ball….

The team is not working well. The ball is passed to KdB and then wait for that pass. He had awful day yesterday. So do we.
I just knew after the match that Pep would say that we played well, which was insulting every City fan's intelligence in that ground, hopefully he's saying something different in the changing room, which to be fair he probably is. He can't possibly select as slow a team again if we wish to win the League and compete for the Champions League this season.

or maybe he can see certain things that we can't see

Have a feeling now if we somehow signed Mbappe, Pep would ask him to hold the width, and pass it back instead of creating panic in/around the box.

Bit of a problem Brentford/Everton showing the way for others to copy to get a result at Etihad, we have around 10 games left at home in PL where we are agaisnt similar tactics, maybe here will be only 2-3 where opponents wont be so defensive.

That was poor and we dropped points. There is no way that he thinks we played well . He was simply protecting the players. But everyone that was there yestday knew we were just not good enough and haven't been in the last three league home games. He is the best coach we have ever had but he can still be questioned just like every other manager City have had.

He didn't seem to want to protect Phillips much. I think he may be reflecting on his own performance yesterday. I certainly hope so.

I wonder does Pep watch the games back? because surely he cant be entertained by these performances.
Slow , boring and so predictable that even limited teams like Everton and Brentford can take points of us. It's all right saying it's hard against a packed defence and that ls true to a certain extent but it is exactly the reason why you need to move it quickly and run at them.
Grealish gallops towards his own goal quicker than the opposition's, draws a foul in our own half and somehow this is classed as controlled possession football.
Needs to get our best 11 out there and for Goodness sake stop fucking about with the defence.

He would watch that back and think we dominate the ball had enough chances to win drew because of one bad pass and a wonder goal! It will enforce his belief! He would of looked at the 6-3 win over the rags and looked at who was at fault and thinking we were to open not that we stopped playing to get a 7/8 goal plus he would of looked at that second half and how we lost control!
