Almost to a man/woman that front 3 is perceived as our most entertaining and effective.

With Rodri,Bernie and Kev behind.

Trust in Pep though.
Obviously trust in Pep,we'd be pretty stupid not to. Sometimes he'll get it wrong, sometimes he won't and we'll still lose. He''s human with faults. He'll get it right more than any other manager though and he'll get it right a hell of a lot more than any of us. He's managed squads and players he sees every day through a season, we've only ever written teams on bits of paper or on the internet.

All fair comment.

Just seems there is no reason or rationale for some of his decisions.

The supporters can see options that might improve a situation, yet Pep refuses to choose such and never explains why.....that's what baffles and frustrates.

Baffles yes, frustrates on days like Saturday it does but I soon get over it. We have these kind of results every season, then usually go on a run of wins, the world cup may disrupt us this year or it may not. I've come to just accept it because it's who he is and the positives of who he is far out weigh the downsides.

Damn, who died in here?
He’s the manager with the most wins since he took charge of City, relax!
No doubt he had a plan to get us through this part of the season, and he will have a different one once we get back from World Cup.
Prepare to blow teams away!

Nowt wrong with losing, well, it's no fun like, but shit happens...but why can’t we learn from this?
Pep is brilliant but his Kryptonite is his ego, he mythered for 5 subs being introduced in the PL - and never fuckin’ uses them?

Love the man, but a few managers will be wise to his weakness.

Pep Guardiola? mr no plan B. stubborn.

It's incredible this needs to be said. As if it's not absolutely obvious.

Many fans can't accept a simple truth: not always when the team struggles in a game it's down to the manager. Sometimes, most players have a bad day, and subs don't change much. Take our losses vs Palace in recent years or our draws vs Southampton last season. It's not like Pep didn't make changes. He did, and we still dropped points. It's impossible to avoid poor games, and it's unnecessary to blame the manager for every poor game.

He certainly could have brought Mahrez on to even up the physicality.

You seem very eager for him to leave

Just saying

That's what's niggling. Around this time of the year we start picking up pace/fitness and go on a tear. The World Cup fucks that and I hope we don't come back to square 1. Alternatively, it could see us hit stride for the latter stages of the Champs League

The only team we've beaten in knockout football(domestic included) in the last 2 years(20/21, 21,22), that are any match for us on paper, are the other perpetual bottlers PSG. Lost every other time we've faced a team close to us in quality. Definitely not harder to beat.
And in 17/18, and 16/17 we didn't beat any team of our same caliber and we lost against inferior teams. So again, now we are more competitive at UCL. Is that so hard to admit? Also, we dominated RM completely, dominated Liverpool in the two PL matches, destroyed Chelsea in 2 PL matches... The last two seasons are our best against elite competition, and that's not even debatable from an objective point of view.

You never gave one

Pmsl

Anyhow let's Hope we find our form after the world cup.
So your not leaving it there then :)

No idea how we will do after the World Cup, either the players come back knackered or refreshed who knows ? But we need a massive improvement over the last few weeks , but i think we are both old skool and have been though far worse , if we are in with a chance of some trophies in May i will be skipping

Weve played abominable football for the past 4-5 weeks.

Thats on the manager. Regardless of what he's done for us in the past.

I don't want him to fuck off, i just want to remind him what a through ball is.
