Honestly theres some real down beaters isnt there. I dont think haalands an issue. I think the issue peps got right now is his two most creative players in foden and kev have gone of the boil and lost their form (personally think they need to sit on the bench for next game)

i terms of peps comments about not winning the league i didnt take it as him throwing the towel in i took it as him trying to create a seige mentality amongst the players and us against everyone vibe.

we need ruben back in my opinion because i feel like were lacking that leader on the pitch.
The immediate objective is start winning games in the PL, forget about the title at the moment.

Pep has a big job on here with a rebuild.
Right back and centre halfs we are covered. We need 2 competent left backs.
Gundo,Kev need replacing.
Cancelo just needs moving on.
Jack and Phil on thin ice.Its not Peps fault that most players are vastly miles off it at the moment.
We need to be a liitle pragmatic even when the scum were dominating they didnt win it every year and they had less competition.
Just need to try and nick a cup and we must learn the right time to let players go piss can was a master of that.Maybe we should try playing 2 up top and having a plan b,you win games by scoring goals not passing sideways and back.
Still onwards and upwards at least we are not watching the likes of Brannan and Creaney

im not thinking about the title im just saying its not over. seen so many down beat people. Feel like a bit of positivity needed.

Release the shackles Pep. It’s not like scintillating football and winning isn’t possible anymore - look at Arsenal.

Unless teams aren’t sitting back against Arsenal yet? They probably are, though.

I agree things look bleak at the moment, but not quite ready to throw in the towel at the moment, albeit we need a big improvement in our performances

In normal circumstances they should be put on the bench but the problem is we haven’t got anyone to replace them . Maybe mcatee needs to come back

We ignore Pep at our peril. He knows the decisions went against us today. He will watch Spurs Arsenal game and will figure out how to beat Spurs.

i think foden will probably be on bench for next game, but i do feel foden isnt a left sided player this season. i feel his best performaces have come on right. i know its not a real example given cancelos performances but just seeing cancelo today actually back at left back his performance improved.

He will figure out how to nullify Spurs strengths which will actually nullify ours.

He's so afraid of the oppositions strengths that he's forgetting to just play to ours.

No. He'll play the same game we've played all season and it'll end how your worst fears think it will.
The same game we've played all season hasn't been too bad for us. Get our players currently down on form, back into form and things will look much better.

I like you're positivity. I really hope you're right man.

tactically he is being found out a bit more often these days.
Brentford, Everton, Soton, United in quick succession.

more and more teams manage to prevent us from creating lots of good chances.the days when we had 25+ shots, 10 on target but failed to win are bit distant now. we dont create enough.

which is only made look better than it is due to Haaland's immense early scoring track.had he started in mediocre form we would be now 6-8 points worse at least.

really hope Pep holds some surprises for the CL games albeit I am very worried of these quick collapses we still seem to have in ourselves. one thing goes bad and within 5-10 minutes we panic, collapse, concede more goals in quick succession etc. you always have those type of high pressure games/ situations in CL knockout games

hell be shouting for kane to get booked lol

Even if Sir 'Arry of Kane is booked or sent off tomorrow, there'll be a media-coordinated national outcry and the yellow or red card will be rescinded on Monday or Tuesday along with a full apology from the PL. The c*nt will then be free to have a field day at ours on Thursday.

I wouldn't worry about Kane. They beat us without him last season anyway

Fear does things to people and when he looks at Arsenal he must see a reflection of himself in that they play in a similar manner to how we've played since he arrived . How to get that to work with a goal machine up top is difficult for him. But he's got to figure that out himself. Maybe reach out to other coaches at this point which isn't beyond him.
Today he went back to a basic back 4 like we asked and it very nearly came off. So he's going to have to continue with the back 4 foundation and adapt it. There were so many occasions when we didn't opt for the long ball today and that may have to to change. He still has a lot of good to work with and play to our strengths as you say. At 1-0 today we were looking good. Rodri was a monster in that first half in particular. Grealish was very good when he came on. Still lots of positives. He will find a way.

Why is more than half the workforce underperforming??? In any business that’s down to the manager.
World Cup may have something to do with it. Manager may have something to do with it. There's any number of issues that could affect form of a group or team.
