So it’s in our interests to prolong the legal process as long as possible.

Then Pep can have his “I told you so” moment with the media when he’s 75, having won the Premier League 30 times and we've just overtaken Madrid in Champions League titles.

(Johnny Evans is still playing for the rags at the age of 65.)
They'd have Wes Brown and John O'Shea back by then too

The dinosaurs of the English football establishment and their dishonest pals in the UK media have totally misjudged Pep. They disrespected him from the start and even now so many of them are still not prepared to give him any credit.
Some so-called journalists have been actively involved in a smear campaign against City for the past decade. They have been happy to publish and broadcast totally distorted stories about our club and its owner after being privately briefed by poisonous senior individuals from LFC, MUFC, Spurs, and Arsenal before Wenger left. Not to mention our enemies in Madrid and Munich. But there is nothing which motivates Pep more than being anti-establishment. It drove him on at Barcelona and now at City.
That’s exactly what the 115 is all about. Can’t beat us on the pitch smear campaign to diminish our achievements.

Even Piers Morgan shows after our treble win showed after we pulled out from Rice deal that story came out with video referenced which had a documentary with no credits. Desperate times for them for sure.

Waiting for it to be over and club does their best without spending like United. They are the gift that keeps on giving.

Palmer and Bynoe-Gittens with assists as well, lame opposition but still nice to see City’s academy running the show

The more of our players from academy go on to etablisb themselves especially from CFA the best advertisement for sure. One day we might have bigger crop of players playing for the first team.

It’s pipe dream but it is possible.

Please, don't be mad at me for saying this, but I think you are being too hard on the English team. I'm Portuguese, and I can understand how does it feel to have a national team that it's not going to win anything.
In fact, Portuguese and English teams are quite similar; good individual players that somehow can't make a good team together.
I'm the first person to blame the manager when things are not going well, but in these cases, there's just no possible excuse. We have bad national teams. Full stop. So, as if we were Gibraltarians, let's cheer our teams knowing that we are rubbish and hoping that one day a miracle happens.

Being this said, in no account would Pep manage English team, he is too smart.

Reminds me of a quote from Notting Hill (paraphasing):

"Here's to England and Portugal. Both crap. In their own special ways."

‘Pep knows there are plenty of people in this country who "want to see the back of him", believing City can then be more easily kicked around. He will not give them the
satisfaction.’

They’ll probably hurry it along then.
