Dipped in here, and can't believe the number of people who are concerned! We've lost two league games to sit 3rd, 2pts off top. That despite having two of our best players injured/suspended along with other injuries to Stones, Bernardo, Kovacic and Grealish.

In an ideal world Pep would have barely used Doku or Nunes yet and would slowly be introducing Gvardiol. Kovacic would have played fairly regularly because of his experience and the fact he's played in England for a while.

Instead we've lost to Wolves and Kovacic and Nunes were both poor, so he's gone with a different partnership for Arsenal hoping to get more balance. We were set up not to lose, which with our injuries, would have been a good result. But were sucker-punched late on.

There's no crisis. Haaland hasn't been firing, Phil hasn't looked as sharp and Dias and Ake have been a bit sloppy too. All of those things happen at times.

We were abysmal, and completely out of shape at times last season yet won the treble. Trust in the man who delivered it. Rodri will come back in, Stones is back fit (and hopefully stays that way) - that's instantly a major improvement. A run of tough games coming, but even if we lose them all I wouldn't ever write Pep off. He's the master.

In context we've conceded 3 goals, 2 own goals and ping pong deflection falling perfect to a player who shouldn't have been on the field after Ruben unsuccessfully tried to block.Next games are Brighton,Utd,Bournemouth, Chelsea,Liverpool and Spurs, we can assess much better after this imo.

We dropped seven points in the first ten games last season. We never get going till after Christmas. The season before we dropped eight in ten.

We can, but even if results aren't favourable, to suggest Pep's lost it or is at fault is miles away from the truth. We were missing a lot of players and unfortunately too many were out of form at the same time. It happens. Ultimately we've had a good start to the season, and once this international break is done it's heads down and focus on getting the rhythm back to take us up to the club world cup. Some very tricky games, but ones we can use to improve and get our form back.

Rodri makes such a huge impact to the way we play, it's no surprise we've been a bit sloppy defensively and a bit sterile in attack without him. Three games without him three losses. He comes back in for the Leipzig game and we win. We'll be a different side with him available.

Great article in the athletic about our squad and its versatility being one our strengths. Pep has build great squads in his time at the club. It’s underrated despite having smallest squad. That’s one of Pep’s strengths.

Image of squad.

probably not intended and a bit harsh (i still hope the lad finds his feet) but listing Philips last of the DM position behind loads of people playing out of position did make me laugh.
