First time in his career he's had to majorly rebuild his team and the ins(so far) are not fit to lace the outs boots. Couple that with some shite injuries and were swimming up stream.
But then he's not helping the situation with seemingly picking the team sheet out of a hat rather going with anything that resembles previous successes. If he has to insist on a new approach then have some fucking consistency.
Doesn't trust a single midfielder that isn't 6"3 and Spanish. It's a big reason why cleansheets have become mythical creatures.
But then on the other hand he's treating players like Alvarez, who started the season well but probably hasn't had a truly good performance since coming off the bench vs Leipzig at the start of October, like an immortal.
I know he doesnt fit the football Pep wants to play but when trying to see out a win, which he has been doing by subbing Ake on for Gvardiol for example, then that 50mil cdm probably worth 10mins here and there. Instead today makes no subs again then will act surprised/annoyed when injuries and fatigue kick in. Game management been awful recently
But all said and done, I look forward to see how he pieces it all together to get us firing again. Something will click, always does.
