For me the one thing he's not worked out is the 10 at the back.
Everyone trying to play in the last 3rd is to congested, very often it's pass after pass untill it goes out of play for the throw in or corner.
More often than not we are getting mugged by players who wouldn't get in our squad but are still very good players having the freedom to run into so much space.
All our players are forced to turn back because there's nowhere to go.
Let the opposition come into the middle of the park and our defence can be defenders not wingers running their nuts off.
Very few defenders have lightening pace but catching attackers after giving them 20 yards head start doesn't give them a fair chance.
Ederson could have walked yesterday and it was down to him not having a defence because they were having to run 70 yards to get back to help.
Match of the day highlighted our positions yesterday and the 2 hugging the touchlines were out of the game leaving them 2 extras to defend.
For the greatest manager I have ever seen I look forward to seeing how he resolves this issue and I have no doubt he will.
Just remember if we are frustrated then don't think for one minute he isn't because he is obsessed with tactics and how it plays out.
The thing with pushing the fullbacks up wide obviously leaves or more vulnerable. It also offers precious little in attack because they’re shite offensively. Clearly he does it to try and create more space for the forwards but at the moment overall it’s having a detrimental impact. When Doku is back i’d like to see him given a run on the right. He can help stretch the pitch and if Walker has to play every game at least tell him to stay back and defend with a proper winger in front of him.

Again I do wonder if the return of Lillo has something to do with this?
Can’t put my finger on it, but the first half season the last time he rocked up was similar to this slow turgid shit
I was slapped down for suggesting this. I still think Pep needs a critical friend to challenge him. Maybe Vicens and Borrello did that .Keegans twin brother Lillo isn't helping.

The season is going to depend on whether we can get Stones, KDB and Haaland fit for the second half of the season. We need to have them all playing 80% of matches together from January onwards to stand any real chance of winning the league and/or CL.

Pep said post spurs/Villa he is there to help the team that is struggling at the moment, but honestly he didn't yesterday.
Hope he has another long thought about his own influence to get a win over the fucking line. It can't happen this way again this season.

He went backwards since his injury and then not getting a regular place. Works hard but the magic isn't quite there.
I think the magic is there but he doesn't work hard. I can see him being more of a rotational player until Pep leaves, its clear he doesn't fancy him.
