It is not about Pep out, it is about having an honest conversation where he is at this moment as a manager and about the squad he is managing and how he is managing them.
I need to be honest as I wrote this here before, I don't expect him winning any proper trophy with us before he leaves.

I've been re-watching that second goal over and over, you cannot call yourself a serious, committed manager allowing or accepting that to happen. There should have been fisticuffs all over the pitch after that crap, eleven randomly scattered cones would have been more of an obstacle than those eleven assholes on the pitch, no pressing up front, Luxembourg size hole in the MF, no challenge on crossings, total loss of orientation in the box, you really need to give feck all to allow that to happen.

He played that side because we looked fucked Saturday, but their again the players on show last night were very naive,them players will only play when we have injuries or pep rest’s his first choice
 
The rot started at the Cup Final against the rags where we should have done the double double, we’ve been lacks ever since, no drive or organisation, and the tactics of pressing & quick passing is very rarely seen, the game against RM at home where we were walking around in the first minutes like it was an exhibition, we’ve lost our way and something needs to change,and quickly.
Sad end for Pep if it is the end but everything has a sell by date.
 
I see this as a recruitment strategy issue rather than a tactical or rotation problem. The inevitable decline of the treble winning squad wasn’t planned for adequately, and the club has chased value signings instead of pursuing the best available players.
As a result, there’s now a major age-gap in the squad, several key players are ageing, while the younger ones are still unproven and developing (perhaps slower than expected). And realistically, apart from Haaland, Rodri, maybe Doku and Foden, which of our players would genuinely worry the opposition?

Savinho on that second goal was so fucking lazy it's unconscionable for me how he wasn't taken off straight away. The fact that he then remained on the pitch for the full 90 was inexplicable. Pep's judgement does need questioning. He removed Doku and Cherki at the weekend who on a day where Haaland and Phil were firing could have had 3 or 4 assists between them, to bring on Savinho and Bobb.
I'm not saying Savinho was our only problem yesterday, far from it. But I am using his usage as an example that our manager himself is not yet all the way back.

Agree. Ridiculous. Neither Manure nor the Arseholes have ever won a Prem without Bacon Face or Wenger. This ownership has won Prem titles with each of the managers they've hired. There's nothing that supports we would go thru what those two clubs went thru upon Pep's departure.

And getting rid of KDB, and farming out Grealish was another fucking daft idea.......in hindsight

Sorry but ya don't do that by dumping 10 players who have barely played let alone together onto the pitch together against a legit CL side and say show me what you got. This is fucking Champions League football. Pep did a madness plain and simple. There's no need for sugar coating it.
 
Still absolutely howling as someone claiming on here that he’s only gone and done it again and built another winning machine after the Liverpool game.

The squad is in such a mess it could take years to sort out, whether it’s Pep or anyone else in charge.
 
He deserves better from the recruitment team OR he must demand better from the recruitment team. This team is still a mess and he also has a say in terms of recruiting players.

Imagine giving him the same as Slot or Arteta.

City has the lowest net spent from the top6, too many times they have walked away from top players and people every year demand from him miracles.

Yes, yesterday’s loss is up to him, but in general the club is not targeting TOP players since the treble.

Slot and Arteta are backed way better than Guardiola.

What statement? Honest question, if you had to make a choice between moving on from Pep or SM selling the club which would you choose? I know what I'm choosing without an ounce of hesitancy.
All credit to Pep and all blame to the club. Not for me. A thousand other managers would bite their arms off to work at this club and be in Pep's shoes.
Anyone who truly believes Pep is getting the most from this current squad is fucking delusional.
Pep has credit in the bank? Does the club? The same ownership that's brought us an endless stream of players we couldn't dream of landing 15 years ago? I'm not going to list names or I'd be typing for an hour.
Some of you want to keep saying be careful what you wish for about Pep. I'm saying that about our ownership group full stop.

When the time comes, the only one I want is Vinnie. Having sen him in action, I honestly think he might be the only one capable of sorting this lot out and holding them accountable. Can you imagine the roasting after last nights tripe?

Anyway, its a pipe dream, the German rags aren't going to let him go easily...

My thoughts exactly, and when Nico told him, he just turned and walked away.

The kid is young and he’s never won a damned thing, so he has no clue what this means to us and the club.

He needs a good seat at the side of the field for awhile to watch Doku run himself senseless, both attacking and defending, before crossing the white line again. And, Oscar can sit next to him!

He's held his hands up and admitted he got it wrong.

What amazes me is that it looks like not one of his close coaching staff advised him it may be a bad idea going with that starting 11.

We all knew what was coming as soon as we all saw the line up. And we are just humble minions. He gets paid a kings ransom and still gets it massively wrong.
