Pep Guardiola Genius

Nah put him in charge of west brom see how well he does then. That type of football won't work in England

The way he has turned around this season might just be his biggest achievement to date.

The pivot point for it all was his "Happy Flowers" speech to the media where he put a rocket up every single one of our arses.
Two seasons in a row he's changed the way we play, on the hoof, DD, to accommodate the changing skillsets of the players at his disposal and to shore up any weaknesses. Last year, the whole inverted fullback thing and slowing our attacks down to mitigate against losing the ball in transition and conceding on the counter, which was happening with irritating frequency, and now this year accommodating a non-pressing 6ft 5' target man. He's light years ahead of everyone else (compare and contrast with the much lauded Klipperty, a one-trick pony who's still cluelessly trying to get the same old tune out of a squad whose dynamics have irrevocably changed) and we are so lucky to have him. Best of all is that he seems to love it at City! We'll never have it this good again. Relish every moment

You feeling positive might just be Pep's biggest achievement to date, EB. Totally agree with your post, We had no left back in January and now we have Nathan Ake, a signing most though was a mistake, bossing the world's best wingers. We had our best player out of form. Now he's running the show. I could go on and on. And you're damn right, he's become the embodiment of modern Manchester City. Our figurehead, our spokesman, the leader of the whole club.

Not for me. Bayern had more possession than us the other night.

Pep out!
