Gundog was Pep’s first signing, so when he leaves that is a complete turnover of players. The team emerging now I think of as Pep Mk3 and it could be the best of all.
The selling of three regulars, the emergence of Ake, the firing up of Grealish, the tactical use of Stones, the adjustment for Haaland, all signs of Pep evolving a new City.
Not bad for a cheque book manager.

Hopefully we'll keep seeing these results to the end of the season and we pick up 2 pieces of silverware. He'll definitely be a genius then. Not bothered which 2, but in order:

1. League and CL.
2. FA Cup and CL.
3. League and FA Cup.

The CL I think this season is the priority just to shut everyone up.
