people doubting pep now for fuck sake really lets go bk to Alan ball or mel machin. Give it a rest we lost yes and it fucking hurts but we have shit loads to play for ask Huddersfield fans or Burnley who's position they would rather be in.we are at Wembley already and still in the rest so we carly on.

Shouldn't be losing at Newcastle if we wanting to win the league ffs.ask Huddersfield and Burnley fans would they fancy their chances at Newcastle when they go there soon, they would say yes

yes we lost for fuck sake when we shouldn't, we shouldn't have lost 3 out of the 4 that we have but we have it's done. But doubting pep give it a fucking rest I know for a fact if we win the other 3 you for one will be saying how great he is.

It's worrying when he just sits in his seat looking frustrated.

What is it that's making him resigned to just watching and gesticulating rather than being up in his box coaching like usual?

Would you be happier if he was standing up and gesticulating, then?

Yeah because then he's coaching the players, which suggests he knows what is wrong and is making adjustments.

When he does nothing, it seems he either doesn't know what's wrong or knows it, but it's something he can't fix, which would be a more serious problem.

This has been bugging me too. Is it that he feels he can’t convince the players to do what he wants any more? It would be a worry if he’s having those thoughts.

Blimey folks we’ve lost a game and we are questioning the guy who has brought us the best football this club has ever produced. These things happen, they only had 2 shots on goal. I’m more concerned with De Bruyne getting back to his best and David Silva off the pace in addition to Fernandinho replacement so we can continue to be at the top

Not wondering why he increasingly chooses to sit glumly on the bench would be stranger. It’s not Pep, so something is eating away at him inside. I’m wondering what.

Could be lots of reasons I suppose, perhaps he’s asked the board to make a particular signing before the end of January and been told to make do. It might be he was frustrated at the players for doing the basics wrong, eg poor passing, when he knows they are normally so good.

Looking troubled ? Jesus,he sat there most of the match with his head in his hands, looking absolutely clueless, takes De Bruyne off when we winning, then we lose, happened not too long back that, the club needs another Kompany badly, that was bad at back for both goals, but he thinks he can chop and change it every match.

But he looks as though he can't be arsed at times lately, proper motivation for the players, absolutely still fuming me this morning with him,and as already said 1 title in 3 is not brilliant, but we live in hope of them fucking up tonight, although highly unlikely

Taking Kev off when he was the correct thing to do imo
The team he put out was lauded on here as being our probable strongest and you say he is chopping and changing - ok

If say we win one or both domestic cups this season how would Pep's three year stint to date be considered?

Clearly not a resounding success as one league title plus say 2 LCs & an FA Cup would be a decent but not amazing return considering the squad we have. One title and 2 LCs would be a relative failure I would suggest and if we end up with nothing this season then it's hard to say anything other than two trophyless seasons out of three is unacceptable. High stakes I'd say as Pep is extremely self-critical and I reckon he would question whether he has done as much as he can with us.

I'd say his tenure would be considered as underwhelming if we dont win PL or CL this season. End up with nothing would be total failure and owners would be asking serious questions of everyone at the club.

You are as bad as me for an argument, taking KDB off was a disaster, correct thing to do why ?

He was booked, we were winning and the barcodes were targetting him in the challenge looking for a reaction, for which Kev was obliging. You would rather have seen him stay on and risk missing Sunday, is that what you are suggesting?
