Pep Guardiola

I think their may be an easy way to settle this once and for all.

Nobody can doubt the acheivements of Mancini,Pep or Jose for that matter. All three are outstanding Managers but for those who would prefer to change Mancini for either of the other two Gentlemen how would you feel if he then took over the reigns at our nearest neighbours and replaced Ferguson?

Pep could just be another AVB or Rijkaard, the right men at the right club at the right time.

Mancini on the other hand has won at different clubs under different conditions in different countries, and he is our current manager, the one who won us our first trophy in over 30 years, our first title in over 40 years and yet still there are people on here happy to get rid of him on the off chance that the unproven Pep might be available.

Unbelievable Jeffrey!

As much as I agree with you in part. Mancini had great success in Italy at a time when the Italian game was at it's lowest point. The problems with Match Fixing etc

Chelsea will get an interim manager till the end of the season then Pep will be installed in the summer.

Unless he's been talked out of his sabbatical already

I think he will be heading to chelski

Bizarrely, the RDM sacking might precipitate Guardiola ending up here sooner rather than later.
things are getting interesting now. It might be the other way round: Chelsea are acting to get their man in case we are in the picture ;-)

Hmmmm, interesting thought. The RDM sacking did seem premature, even for Abramovic's low standards.

I'm going out on a limb. I'm now even MORE sure there's absolutely no way that Pep will work for Roman.

I'm either going to look a dick or a genius by the end of the day!

Said the same to the mrs just now. Who in their right mind would work for that nutter. This morning's actions only reinforce that sentiment.

Mourinho back to Chelsea and Guardiola to the rags at the end of the season? Ferguson has looked distinctly unwell to me in his last two post-match interviews.

Do you think that (a) nice Mr Abramovic is likely to grovel to Mourinho and say I am sorry I was wrong to sack you, please come back.

And (b) Mourinho would be daft enough to accept?

Er, no.

More likely Mourinho turning up at QPR.

If Mourninho decides to leave Madrid, he will definitely consider a return to Chelsea.

Despots like Abramovic are not renowned for changes of heart - it would be a sign of great weakness and an admission that he made a mistake. It's not happening.

They've been waiting for me for two years now Jonny. They've even had a few bites after climbing on each other's shoulders. Unfortunately for them, it's a long limb, and it's incredibly sturdy.

Rumbles of mourinho available in summer, although we've heard it all before. Could be a very interesting summer.

Seeing as we are all putting our backsides on the line, I'm going to go with pep to Chelsea in the next few weeks. Surely even roman wouldn't be stupid enough to sack dm without a replacement lined up.

I'm wondering if Mancini could be a very relieved man in the next few weeks.
