I'd accept Maresca in a Pellegrini type role of keeping it warm until the first choice is free from their contract.
Edit: it’s a fucking April Fools by some blue in Australia. Fucking hell. He’s made it look like an Ornstein tweet.Looks nailed on now ornsteins reporting it
Maresca or alonso apparently
Allowing current managers to be involved in choosing new ones has a proven track record of failure. Look no further than the swamp for categoric evidenceIf the club think that Maresca is the right man then so be it? Pep will most certainly be involved and recommending who follows him?

My wife used to be on the board of Sport England, so at the time Moyes was in charge she knew a few senior people at United. The view there was that the players did him in. They thought he wasn’t a good enough manager for their giant egos so they didn’t play for him. They also said Rooney was a big problem, and that had Ferguson not quit so suddenly, Rooney would have been toast. That happened once mate? Then in fairness, did Moyes get backed in the transfer market?

No allowing the previous manager carte blanche to sabotage the entire club from the inside is what lays the track for failure. We are not in that position.Allowing current managers to be involved in choosing new ones has a proven track record of failure. Look no further than the swamp for categoric evidence
Would you consider Kompany? His qualification for the Bayern job was winning the Championship
I just can’t see Pep leaving things to late. Purely out of respect to Khaldoon and the club.
He could well win the CL this season, something Pep didn’t do there. Would your assessment of him change then?Agreed! Vinny done well in the championship but then struggled in the premier league and went to Bayern who let’s be honest have arguably the best squad in world football!?! Obviously you have to manage the personalities and egos but it’s a dream job isn’t it? Not putting Vinny down but some begging him here already is we would be getting closer to Burnley Vinny than Bayern Vinny? I could actually see the Girona manager given a crack to be honest
You need to post this on the Arsenal thread, it would flush out some interesting reactions!Anyone would think the media don't trust Arsenal to win the league and we could win another domestic treble...
I'd love Vinny, but if it didn't work out it'd be horrible. When pep leaves.
Which will be when he decides.
We will never ever have a manger anywhere never him.
No team.im the world will.
He has no equal.
Personally I'd like Vinny cos I love him.
Why.I'd love Vinny, but if it didn't work out it'd be horrible.

Wondered why nobody was mentioning it.Edit: it’s a fucking April Fools by some blue in Australia. Fucking hell. He’s made it look like an Ornstein tweet.
