you can hear the glee in everyones voice expecting us to turn shit again.i think they are in for a painful surprise
"Jumper's for goal post's,, 3 at the back, one's gone home for his tea, beans on toast, lovely".......on a more serious note great post mate, I've been City for over 60 years and you summed it up perfectlySimply wonderful
1. He was barely given players for his tactics. Side note - have you ever seen a team win a trophy in December lol1. Alonso inherited Ancelotti’s good work and just one year later fell out with everyone and won nothing with mighty RM
2. In his only year with Chelsea, Moresco won a European trophy despite the fact “Prior to Enzo Maresca's appointment as head coach in June 2024, Chelsea experienced one of the most turbulent periods in their history”
Might be about time actually
Some years ago he mentioned a break, followed by managing a national team. Surely that's the plan.Pep is quite young, really. Only 55. I wonder what life has in store for him in the future? Managing Messi at Inter Miami?
Maybe City Group Football will offer Pep a Group Director of Football role worldwide to basically travel around all the clubs in the group to do whatever he wants - get involved as much or a little as he wants to globally, or advising particular clubs in the Group. Some years ago he mentioned a break, followed by managing a national team. Surely that's the plan.
