Pep to leave at the end of the season

I actually think Pep could have all his bags packed and be in the departure lounge, but then change his mind. If that happened, Khaldoon would drop everything to fly in from Abu Dhabi to keep him. There's zero chance that Pep leaves on anything other than his own terms.
I suppose anything is possible and people do change their minds. Not sure how that scenario would play out if there's already an agreement with another manager in place though, or worse still, a contract has been signed!

I have. All the Chelsea and Leicester fans I've spoken to have really talked him up. I know a few of each, and I've talked about Enzo among other things with 'em and always heard positives. He is regarded as a very intelligent man and an effective coach, who achieved for their respective clubs, and that being taken away from them dealt them damage in both cases.

Do you think they preferred Rosenior or Cooper & Van Nistelrooy, by the way? I can assure you that is not the case, decidedly so.
All 3 were wank imo mate.

Thats what people are so stuck over. Announce it one way or another so we can deal with it. Its really tough and sensitive and all involved no doubt but yeah crazy how long they are playing it out.
"Really tough and sensitive"?
It's football, not a family bereavement we're talking about here.

It’s amazing how many people believe what the media and social media say as gospel

We all know how much the media in this country is so biased against our club
Add in the smear campaign by them on the possible new guy & the DOF....the media hatred for us will continue in plain sight and some blues buy into it.

Does the trust work with Soriano or is it set up to challenge him?
I'm not an interim officer so have had no involvement in the discussions but I'd say both. But Soriano never had any direct involvement with City Matters, which annoyed me. So there's no reason to think he'd be involved with the Trust either. Less reason in fact, as there's no mandatory PL requirement to have a Supporters Trust, where there is for some sort of Fan Advisory Board.

Reckon we,ll still be here next week wondering whats going on
I'll be honest mate, the only place on the internet where people are "wondering" is on here. I think if you haven't accepted it's obviously 1) over 2) Maresca next season, then you're either the biggest cynic of all time or in denial.

I've just watched the bernardo leaving interview & he's sat in a studio with trophies behind him not all laid out in the middle of the pitch......so surely those leaked images of the trophies on the the pitch last week have got to be for pep's leaving interview or has it been explained elsewhere & I've missed it? Far to much noise around the maresca rumours & last week he's saying 'im here next season' in a bbc interview yet after the match the other night it's now 'I'll need to speak with my chairman & soriano'.......as if he hadn't already spoke with them.....pfffft pull the other one, I think its an absolute certainty he's going & the 2yr contract last year was a bit of a smokescreen to try to stop constant rumours & questions throughout this season whilst the club knew all along this was to be his last season with us & in the background plans for next season & the new manager have been slotting into place. Meticulously planned unlike the absolute shit show over the road with red shite. Only my opinion on things of course, I'm sure we will see over the weekend or coming weeks what unfolds with announcements on pep leaving & maresca taking over.

Did you watch all of the Bernardo videos, cos one shows him walking out onto the pitch with the FA Cup to all the other trophies he's won laid out in the middle of the pitch. It was definitely for him

Maresca has hardly the reputation of managing a big club, so what he got Leicester promoted? Lampard has just got Coventry promoted we arent screaming for him?

I knows hes also won the club world cup but those tournaments are hit and miss and its a free for all
There is a thousand miles of difference between Maresca's job at Chelsea and Lampard's job at Chelsea.

Likewise, there is a gulf between Maresca's job at Leicester and Lampard's job at Coventry.

Their field of work to show for themselves is completely different.

I have backed up Lampard when others have over-criticised him at times, and he has done a decent job in most roles, other than his second spell as Chelsea manager which was dire (although understandable in the circumstances). But none of it is even remotely comparable to Maresca.

Then, there's also the fact that Enzo worked with Pep in our backroom staff and helped him achieve the treble including our first ever Champions League. Lampard never did anything like that.
