Pep to leave at the end of the season

Not because he didn't want to come or we couldn't attract him which was what the discussion was,but you know that.
No, the discussion was "which player did we had trouble landing." We had trouble landing Kane because of Levy-it fits perfectly into the discussion. This place has become RAWK, nobody says "oh yeah good point on Sanchez" but thinks "how can I change the narrative."

I hope Pep tells them all to go and take a walk on the M6. Absolute parasitic leeches, everyone apart from Martin Samuel.

Honourable mention to Jeff Powell today for his mail column calling out the VAr manipulation to the title.

Like politicians, it’s difficult to find a journalist with a shred of integrity. The good ones are few and far between.

I think in years to come the may be an interesting biography and he'll be pretty frank in that. I don't expect we'll hear much until city and 115 are well and truly in the rear view mirror
That's the main reason I wanted Pep round next season.

Not the football, not the trophies, not the past glory etc. But to get to conclude that episode thatbhas plagued him and such a part of his time here. He had fully embraced it on behalf of the club, been the defacto club spokesman, and I felt he nailed how I felt about it.

I really hope he comments on it when it's done, but it won't be the same without formally being part of the club.

Aye, yes let's talk about Ake's defending, Marmoush's pressing, Kane-Sanchez would haves, Maresca's next transfers and all that other stuff on this thread on the day our greatest ever manager and one of us likely confirms he's leaving.

Tonight is All or Nothing night for me. Probably the 5th time I’ve watched it. She’s fucked off to Spain for a few nights. Me, the telly and some nostalgic Pep from one of my favourite seasons under his tenure.

I reckon there’s going to be some raw, chopped onions knocking around, too.

I would imagine it was always planned thus. But with the title still a possibility.

They took it away from the club, and from Pep. And from us fans. There is no doubt about it.

Affected the game, sealed the fate of the title, but worse, took all the intended emotion and direct closeness out of it, and put a whole other dimension and context to it.

For all their bashing we have endured, the loaded articles, the 115s, the provocative questions, the spins, the innuendos and the manipulation over the years (which btw did not affect me that much), this is the one that really sickens me. Genuinely raging over it. This is one blow I will carry around for a long time.
I'd imagine Pep feels the very same.

Some are partisan fans of other clubs (usually the red top wankers) with no objectivity and some are clickbait wankers with no real interest in football. It's mental how they've ignored / downplayed / belittled the football and achievements of pep and city in general over the last few years - they should be eulogising over the football brought to these shores. Pearls before swine and the equivalent of Burger King and KFC hounding the only michelin starred restaurant out of town.
