Makes sense if he's exhausted with the day to day stuff - 13 years without a sabbatical when you include his time at Bayern. Maybe he'll recharge his batteries after a year or two working for the CFG and decide he wants to dip back into managementSeems he won't be leaving the club after all. He's gonna be a Global Ambassador for the CFG.
So yeah, he's essentially retiring (or taking an extended break) from football management altogether.
