To be clear, this is not about Simon Jordan or his opinion per se. This is about a general consensus which follows media agenda, something Pep half-jokingly refers to in a lot of pressers, that he is only where he is because he spends money and Klopp doesn't.

It doesn't matter to the likes of Jordan what the argument is based on, what facts are presented, what issues are debated, he isn't the kind of guy who changes his mind on anything. He starts with the premise that Kilopp is better and nothing will persuade him that he could be wrong. Mind, one thing in his favour is how well he kept steady and knowing hand on the tiller and steered that football club of which he was chairman to one trophy after another. The man just oozes football brilliance!
