Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Do people actually think, that if Pep had left at the end of last year, any new manager coming in would have got rid of KDB, still under contract, and brougth in lets say Wirtz or whoever the shiny toy is this year, who didn't want to move or even if he could be concinced would cost so much? Would he really have gone, I know you have the best midfielder in the world at the club, but I want another Rodri, and that the club would have just found one, never mind actually bringing him in. Or bought another top right-back with walker still here. Do you think Pep is the one holding up our recruitment? Please!

We are coming to a natural end of a cycle, Pep could leave now, in a year, in 5 years, the same process will still need to happen. And WILL happen, only either with the best manager in the world or without him.
I believe there are posters on here who think it’s as simple as a push of a button in regards to buying and selling players.
I believe those posters to be idiots.

To be fair , Pep convinced Walker to stay when Walker wanted to leave. We could’ve let him go and got a replacement in.

Pep does have favourites or his go to guys. Why Gundo starts a lot etc why he convinced Walker to stay. even in Peps book he talks about having the guy or group of guys he trusts at each club he’s been at. Barca Bayern and City.

The attack doesn't need a rebuild it’s young enough. The midfields cycle is coming to an end kev’s body can’t handle the work load especially after such a big injury. Gundo looks on his last legs at this level. Kova is decent but can be slow at times. Nunes is now a winger. We lack energy.

All we really need is a rebuild in midfield the defence is fine apart from at right back, we are conceding as the midfield is just slow and lethargic. Without Rodri there we have no stop gap to counter attacks. Rodri is a one man midfield, that’s why he has the ballon dor

I suspect when Rodri gets back he'll say he can't do 60+ games a year thus necessitating a plan B.

When Pep convinced walker to stay, people were convinced he was the best RB in the world. He won 3 trophies as well. Now that we lost our first game in 32, suddenly Walker is beyond use and his age means pep needs to go. Ok pal.

The defence isn't fine we need a center back with pace who is strong and is good in the air!!! A lot to ask for in 1 player I know we also defo need a new right back either first choice or back up.
