No one is saying get rid, you are twisting it, every single season you read on here wait until injuries hit the dippers they will be fucked blah blah blah, I always hear we have got the squad to cope with injuries, then when we do get injuries the same people are whinging how unfair it is, we are very light for actual strikers and have been for years, not just since pep, like I said in a previous post we were that light of strikers we had to play Milner up front

I've seen far too high a turnover of managers since Joe Mercer's glory years in desperate searches for instant success, we now have a set up that works better than any other club, they try to copy us. We are not perfect, Pep is human, sometimes the errors he sees are not the errors we see, so unless you have an alternative, let the club do what it has done with 3 consecutive managers, build teams for consistent success. Whatever about Jose's eggs, I prefer the old blues lyrics "you don't miss your water till your well runs dry" and I don't want to see our well drained because of a short term drop in our performances.

Lots of posts on here seem to be suggesting with our resources, winning is a given. The last couple of seasons have been a freak, nothing like it in modern day football. Even the Ferguson sides who, despite the furore around our money, played during the most inequitable era financially, didn’t win everything. They won something like one title in two despite having by far the most money, with the odd challenge from Leeds and Blackburn before Chelsea came along. They strengthened by weakening those around them, poaching their best players. Even with all this advantage, how often did they achieve 85 points plus? So many teams loaded with £30m plus players today, even mid-table ones. Pep is a freak and deserves time to reassess and reinvent the side.

I would say the paper talk about Pep wanting some assurances is true.

If the club supply him with what he wants like a top CB, LB, attacker etc he’ll resign otherwise he won’t. Makes a lot of sense tbh.

We are in for a minor rebuild and it’s time to splash the cash again, especially on CB.

Give Pep what he wants and watch City dominate once again!!!!
