Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Was there reports that he is waiting till December to sign maybe he wants to see how the players respond to him think that’s why after 4/5 years you need to build a new team with new players listening to pep for the first time.

I remember when we used to get excited at the thought that Dave Bassett might be willing to manage us. Pep isn't perfect and makes mistakes. Fancy that! Be a big surprise though if the next guy - and there will be a next guy at some point - is anything other than a downgrade.

Perhaps we can tempt Sean Dyche away from Burnley, I'm sure we'd all love his "football" style.

This thing about he's only a success if he wins in Europe is bullshit, no other manager in this country gets measured on this.

Agree fergie won it 3 times in 25 years at one club, he must have been a really crap manager !. I dont ever remember the press/media calling him a failure. Plus fergie never won the domestic treble.

Could I politely correct you on your post. It isn’t fergie, it’s ferguson, fergiscum, the govan piss can, or something ruder. Thanks and as you were

he definitely tinkers too much but is it down to having too many good players that he feels compelled to play them so picks a different team every week?

Think the answer to that question is between Pep's two ears and far beyond the understanding of us mortals. He makes Ranieri look boring and he was the tinkerman.

i want him to renew but he's not infallible . many times he fucks about with the team and we lose.

on here though he can do no wrong .
He’s human Bill and makes mistakes yes I agree there but I wouldn’t swap him with anyone else. At times with his City teams it’s like watching Brazil

I agree completely and think this is one of his biggest faults, I can't think of another manager who changes his line up so much week after week. For me we should have a settled team of maybe 8 players and the defensive side of the team should be the most stable. The only reasons to change being injury or loss of for.

I would go for something like this, assuming we get Koubaily, Maybe rotate between Aguero and Jesus,
The problem is trying to keep players like Mahrez, Gundo, Foden etc.. happy.

-----------------------Ederson-------------------------
Walker-----Koubaily--------Laporte-------Cancelo
------------------------Rodri---------------------------
------------KDB-------------------Bernardo-----------
Sterling--------------?????????---------------??????????
