Pep won't sign imo. He is stalling for a reason. The players know it too. I know this will get some stick but maybe the apparent conversation between him and Messi and him flying to Barcelona may not have been what people thought. I think he either told Messi to stay because he is going to leave City or he told him he will go back to Barca in a year or two and he should stay. I could see Pep seeing the season out and then either taking a break for a season or immediately returning to Barca.

I don't understand how anyone who watched that match is talking about the players not fighting for Pep or not caring.

They all ran themselves absolutely into the ground. All 20 starting outfield players and some of the subs were destroyed by the end of that game, I'd be amazed if they're not all fast asleep within 5 minutes of sitting down on the coach home.

I suppose we could see the distance numbers from somewhere, I think they'd be through the roof.

Agreed fully mate. But just out of interest, how many games would you give it with a return of 4 points from every 3 games, before you’d start to change your opinion?

I've already said Pep needs to decide his.future now and.let the world know. It's no good having a manager like him in his final year and the saga of him going or staying dragging on.

That said if he is going he goes at the end of the season. He deserves nothing else and he goes with my thanks even if we finished 1 spot above relegation.

We won't btw, we will be comfortably top 4 again as a minimum.
