OGS potentially getting sacked and them going all out for Poch certainly makes things interesting, not that I ever believed he was sat at home waiting for us...I think we thought that perhaps we would have an answer from Pep in the next couple months and then Poch could sign a precontract to replace Pep if he was to leave.

In my heart I think he will leave because there’s very little reason for him to keep declining the extension. He has, of course, said otherwise and I can’t fault anyone for taking him at his word but it feels like a polite or delicate way to handle the situation. I don’t think he’d completely screw over people he has a long standing professional relationship with so I’d expect our leadership knows the situation well.

I think it's still all dependent on that little fella in Barcelona. If he gives up the thumbs up in January then Pep stays for another 2 seasons. If not, I would guess he will be off. So we should know one way or another in a month or so.

Exactly,and thats why I don't believe he would be so shallow......give Pep some credit,hes nobody's puppet and Messi will not be the deciding factor in his future.
