Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Barca (first team) and Bayern - are twice in a row by my count. Small sample size... and perhaps dead wrong, I hope.

At the same time - do you think he'd lost the confidence of Barca players or Bayern players - or that he lost the confidence of Barca or Bayern management?

I simply think that it's a mixture of burnout and a desire to pursue new challenges.
He didn’t take a break after Bayern. 3 clubs In about 12 years as a manager isn’t a lot

Very impressive is Pep recently. He is not at all conceited and that is why he is City and every City supporter should hope he stays.
But Sam City correspondent from the Ragletic assured me City fans wanted him out last week on Sky Sports. "Time for a change" he had heard City fans say. Funnily enough, I have never met a Pep out fan.

In terms of longevity at our club - yes.

The reluctance to sign an extension is, unfortunately, part of the pattern.

Hell, this is just my opinion - worth nothing at all...

I've tried to find betting odds on this - as I tend to view those with money on the line as far more knowledgeable than I. I'm in the USA and search results may be off because we're unable to legally bet in certain cases.

Are there bets posted by a major outlet on whether or not Pep will be our manager next year? If so, what are the odds?
Next year, yes. In January, Betway were offering 5/1 that Pep wouldn’t be City manager by the end of 2020; bit stingy considering his record at our club and his relationship with the management/their reluctance to change mid-season. Not sure it signifies anything other than a booky jumping on the media bandwagon of a manager ‘under pressure’, at that time.

Other than that, next manager odds have Pochettino as favourite with Viera and Rodgers just behind.

Hopefully Viera is nonsense,i just dont think he has what it takes.

It’s probably only based on his connections with us. I wouldn’t have a clue tbh and wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a left of field appointment. I do find it a bit strange that Poch seems to be waiting for something.

Thanks for the info.

Are there any current jobs available that would enthuse him?

Again though,i'm not overly keen on him as a contender either.
