I assume this means Vaina has not told Amorim to stay put as he's getting the City job in July....makes me think Pep is extending.

Hope its Nagelsmann over Alonso personally.Agree...I do like that Alonso has at least spent time at major clubs as a player. I think it at least decreases the chances that he will be totally naive about the levels of the Premier League.

We possibly are enough of a draw to pull him away from the German National team.Hope its Nagelsmann over Alonso personally.

Not a clue who it will be or when it will be, but would put money on it being none of the 4 you named.I don't hate Amorin but I didn't think he was right for the City job.
I want Pep to stay!
And most importantly I know although we hate the dippers.. they had a successful transition of managers from Shankly - Paisley - Fagan - Daglish and that's the biggest proof that you don't want to do what the rags did and bring in a new manager where the players start to feel they know more than the manager!
You have to promote from within.. someone who is respected and knows the system that has worked for a long time.
So I've still got my suspicions that Gundogan will be Pep's replacement when he's ready. Fernanindho, Rodri and Vinny are the other 3 I think could be in the conversation.

If we go back to when Pep signed his last extension years ago the names being thrown around then are different to those now, Ten Hag was one of them, there was no Alonso, no Amorin. If he extends for 2 more years then there will be new names in the frame, and maybe so e of those mentioned now will have fallen by the wayside.Quite possibly. But I'd put money on it not being Arteta!
