I was just signing off for the week and my brother called and mentioned I must be pleased with the news.. didn’t know what the hell he was talking about at first as haven’t watched tv, Surfed the net or even read my city app alerts for the past few days..

That’s a little englander comment if ever I’ve heard one, if you haven’t noticed Manchester is an international City now, so it’s appropriate I think to call it Manchester Airport.

Little Englander here. Everywhere is is one homogeneous international soup. It was called Ringway first, if somebody wants to carry on doing so it’s their right. Sorry if it offends. Try to get over it though. Surely there’s a Radio station you can complain to about the words in Fairytale of New York?

It hasn’t been called Ringway since the 1950s thats like nearly 70 yrs ago, so by your logic Manchester City fc should be called St Marks, btw cheer up I’m not the one getting all upset here, I do know how a forum works.

Bollox man. I passed at least 75,000 when crossing the Pennines on foot.

75,000 plus one. I was living in Germany at the tIme and walked through Holland, pausing only to don some clogs. When I finally clip clopped to the sea, I borrowed a kayak from a passing Inuit, paddled to hull, hitched to York, couldn’t get a ticket because of the 75,000 City fans, and had to stand outside the ground so I could say ‘I was there’.
