Absolutely delighted with the news.

You don’t break up a successful partnership if there is no willingness for either party to move on. The man loves it here, you only have to listen to his interviews. Bought into the city plan and has revelled in it since.

The brand of football.
The ridiculous amount of trophies and records.
The respect MCFC derives around the world.
The prestige.
The pain caused to rivals.
The backing in the face of 115 lies.

We have endured so many years of suffering that now it’s our time to enjoy the best football has to offer. A new man will eventually arrive but until then I hope this one year thing keeps going and going and going.

He needs help now in the form of new players. The current squad needs to up its game now starting sat.

Knowing how the two clubs have been run. We will have taken the brains behind the Sporting operation, in cheeky's replacement.

They will be left with another manager that's getting sacked in about two years, and left wondering what went wrong.
 
When do the media beat City to a story? With no official confirmation, does anybody else not sense this is a bit of shit stirring maybe forcing City to act. Sky Sports contacted the club who said nothing

I'm guessing it simply to push back the inevitable questioning about his future next year just that little bit further plus allows viana to use the playing under Pep carrot when going after new players next summer.

The notion that any sane, competent professional would want to go to a bottom half of Premier league has-been, debt-ridden, reverse midas touch "team" over the 4x champions is beyond laughable
