Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Where could he actually go from here?

He won’t manage Spain. He’s done Barca Bayern and now us (obviously). Don’t think Paris especially given the politics. US is a retirement home. So if things are going well Pep should set up shop/dynasty.
Guardiola will manage in Italy at some point, i believe. AC Milan as possible destination..

The money is starting to filter in to Italian football, his last club job will be there, probably resurrecting the mystique around the league..

He won't stay more than 4 years!!

"With Guardiola expected to commit himself to a new contract that will keep him in Manchester for another five years"

Near the very bottom of the article ladies and gents.

Huh, Simon Mullock wrote this, first i have heard of 5 years, is it correct? If it is i'll hit the roof with excitement.
influential boardroom members are also unhappy about the ultra-pragmatic tactical approach still being taken by the Portuguese.

Probably makes it difficult for said board members to flog tickets at inflated prices.

Catalonia manager if it happens and fifa recogizes them....or possibly ireland job if it doesnt

Other wise it has to be a team in italy (napoli?) But theres no guarantee we wont be stuck with him for a decade

I think we should be seriously looking at what we will do post-Pep - even if it is 5+ years in the future. That is, how will we continue to implement this footballing philosophy without compromise?

I think Pep is the last stop of our self-making. Either Arteta or Vieira will get the job and whomever is picked will be staying for a long time. Thinking whiskey-nose/Arsene long.

It is up to the club's hierarchy to devise a contingency plan. As fans we just need to savour every minute of it because we may never see anything like this again and he won't be at City forever. So watch it, drink it in.
