I'm not too sure a top level manager would want a fully functioning new team, think he'd like to put his own stamp on it.

Whoever we get isn't going to be Pep level and may struggle to get a new 'full' Pep team to work to potential tactically.

That didn’t work at all in Bayern when he replaced Pep. If Pep leaves this summer we need a rebuild, can’t see Ancelotti being the man you want to oversee it.

I don't think it's a 2 year job, I think 4 players need replacing possibly 5 with Ederson, admittedly it's something we'd normally do over 2 summers,for a whole list of reasons I think last summer we dedided to leave it until next.Though will say not allowing for Rodri being out for the season when Echeverri arrives in January we would have been at our maximum allowed squad size.
The 4 players to replace KDB,Walker,Gundogan and Bernardo though that maybe the year after. Add the right 4 players to the rest of the squad and I think we'd be spending big on them and we'd have a full squad at decent ages ready to go again. As I say we may need to add a keeper to the list

It shouldn't have been let come to this though. Txiki for all the praise he has got has been hit and miss for a while now. What if any part Pep played in this who knows.
