Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I hope there’s a clause in there so we can boot the bald twat out on Saturday afternoon when we get battered by Spurs.

Need to get a proper manager like Tony Pulis in who can keep us up, none of this woke tippy tappy shite, this is England!

Well I hope you have a grand time mate. When do you go?
Thanks mate ,off on sat hence me being in the air for it, plane has wifi tho so hopefully ill be able to stream it and if not keep up to date with the score, not on the matchday thread tho i might jump off the plane lol

Fantastic news, the players that don’t want to ‘follow’ can be shipped out in the Summer. Pep knows who they are, and we will move them on. I do wonder if he will be here for the two years, then take the Brazil job for the 2030 World Cup in Europe including Spain. It’s also their centenary year. If he stays until 2026, we have our rebuild, and the players bought will be to fit our way of playing and not for the next manager. The next manager will need to fit the way we play. I don’t see where he goes after one year unless he takes a break. Hope he takes this season to work out the next transformation of his tactics, and be ready to go for the next two seasons ahead. Also think having Viana bringing a different perspective on players he will enjoy as well. Freshens things up. A lovely way to start the day, and the atmosphere is going to be something on Saturday. Cause we’ve got…

Brilliant news. Allows the club to manage the transition from Txiki to Hugo and deal with the CWC and a new season. If he does then leave the following summer there's a proper window for someone to come in and the club has a summer window to address any current issues in the squad so it's ready to go. There's a World Cup but get our business done early and we'll be fine.

Finally got round to looking up the word “pundit” in the Oxford English Dictionary. The commonly accepted meaning, granted, is “a person who knows a lot about a subject and is often asked to give information or opinions about it to the public” (Collins Cobuild) or “an authority, or a person who believes that they are an authority” (Penguin English Dictionary).
As I suspected, it comes from the Hindi pandit, meaning “a learned Hindu” which in turn derives from the Sanskrit, pandita, “learned, skilled”.

To associate this word with utter pea-brained no-marks like Collymore is a travesty.
