Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

I think this is an astonishing testament to the man's loyalty to this club. This is not just any extension, at any old time. As is becoming painfully obvious, some key players are coming to the end of their time, and a rebuild — Pep's “third team” — is needed.
Far more importantly, though: the way I read it is that Pep has thought long and hard about it, and decided to see the 115 situation through, come what may. Whatever the consequences are, he's with us. I'm not just jubilant. I'm touched.

Perfect time to press the "reset" button for our season.

Hopefully most of our players are back now after their niggles and injuries.

Rodri in the stadium On Saturday and hopefully in the dressing room belting out his leadership speech.

Gundo turns in to peak Gundo, Kev calibrates his right foot and the Beast tunes in his finishing.

No better team to start the resurgence than the Spuds!!!!

"I can absolutely promise you that nothing will have made Guardiola's heart sink - since his committed himself to Manchester City, and that may have been years rather than months ago - than the news that Jose Mourinho was coming to Manchester. Honestly, he must have felt like ripping up his contract when that happened."

What a fucking moron.

just off to the states for a couple of weeks get a bit of sun
Where you off to for that in November?

Enjoy the shopping! Some crackin’ bargains already. Just snagged some 60% off Merrill hikers for the Mrs. She’ll be rest chuffed with em! And, bought my son (chip off the old block) some G-15 Ray Ban Aviators for $50 off!

You have to laugh....

From Sadcafe....

Good news. He'll stop pool from winning the league until we sort ourselves out.
..................
This is up there with 9/11
11 seasons with 6 (semi)permanent managers and 4 "interim" managers (who also failed the casting test) after the pisscan left, plus ever worsening positions in the league, ever more money spent with a worsening squad each time, and they think that they'll be back challenging for the title in two and a half seasons?

The gift that never stops giving, god bless them and long may they continue to suffer.

Love it

I was pretty sure he would extend anyway. I can't remember exactly what he was talking about but in a press conference a few weeks ago he mentioned about next season and it kind of confirmed he planned to be here next season. I wish I could remember exactly what he was saying.

Anyway, great news. He loves it here obviously. Unless he's planning to take a break from football then I can't really imagine anywhere else is appealing at the moment.

Benidorm?

As a coach he is at best mediocre. There is not a single player in the entirety of his career at City that he has coached into a better player than he started out with.
It’s funny, isn’t it, but EVERY PLAYER talks about how Pep opened their eyes to football.

One of them is the CURRENT BALLON D’OR WINNER!!!

How out of touch could even a Dipper fan be?

Granted, he didn’t turn TAA into an England midfielder or every keeper into a sweeper…he just created the concepts!! HAHAHA!
