Pep essentially said he wants to stay and is very happy and if he ever did leave he would take a break from football rather than go to another club. I think City should give him a sabbatical (it would be a bold move) for 12 months when he could go round the world looking at other clubs' tactics (including CFG clubs) and get as much rest as he wants.
I would rather risk one year with a caretaker manager (remember Pellegrini was basically a caretaker) than lose Pep forever. It has never been done before but imagine the shockwaves it would send to our rivals. It happens all the time in other big organisations.
