Pep's contract situation

I would rather risk one year with a caretaker manager (remember Pellegrini was basically a caretaker) than lose Pep forever. It has never been done before but imagine the shockwaves it would send to our rivals. It happens all the time in other big organisations.

How good would it be? All we need to do is find an "elder statesman" quality manager who is happy to take the role for one year for one last swansong. What abour Wenger? I know everyone hates him but he is a proper manager. He is certainly a greedy bastard who would not turn down a last payday.

I'm not sure the players would go for this plan, but give it Bielsa for a year, basically a madder, funnier style. Tell him as long as he gets top four it's all good.
 
I think Pep will sign for 2 more years. It's not too long an extension & he always talks in a humble manner about his worth & making sure he can give City his maximum effort. The club give him top quality players to coach and i genuinely think he is very happy & settled. As long as he feels valued & he has the players backing we are good to continue. The squad spirit is top drawer.
