If we go back to when Pep signed his last extension years ago the names being thrown around then are different to those now, Ten Hag was one of them, there was no Alonso, no Amorin. If he extends for 2 more years then there will be new names in the frame, and maybe so e of those mentioned now will have fallen by the wayside.
